After D settled his modules for the coming semester, we decided to head to Sea World for the day. 😛
How very convenient for us since it’s an hour’s drive away! 😉
Penguin Encounter was cool because we got to see the King Penguins as well as the lively Gentoo penguins play on the snow through the topside viewing area as well as watched them swim through the underwater viewing window.
We also got to “play” with a dolphin calf at the Dolphin Nursery in the Dolphin Cove.
Of course, we also went to the Shark Bay to check out J’s favourite sea animal!
J absolutely wants to dive with sharks before we return to Singapore in 2015… 😉
We received a very warm welcome at the Seal Harbour:
Guess they might have mistaken us for their keepers who would be feed them? 😛
When leaving Sea World, we walked by the Dolphin Nursery and the calf played with us again!
So very cute! 😀
We went for dinner at Sunnybank – 炸翻天, recommended by Jie Yu:
2 x $7.80 meal of rice + side + drink!
This is really cheap compared to what we’d get elsewhere…

Somehow the name of the carpark got us sniggering… 😛
P.S. Pardon the lack of photos, this is a back-dated post and we lost our photos in a break-in 😦
