D’s been away 209 days and J 89 days…
SO, we are obviously THRILLED to be going back to Singapore!!! 😀
The sunrise was beautiful in Brisbane:
BUT we’re sure it’ll be even prettier in Singapore the next few days 😉
Our flight from Brisbane to Sydney’s been delayed 😦
Glad we’re on our way out of Brisbane! 😀
J loved the cereal! 😀
Someday (before we go back to Singapore for good in November 2015), we’ll go diving in Australia… 😉
ARGH, we missed our connecting flight! 😦
We finally got out of the BNE-SYD plane at 0905 hr (wonder why those with connecting flights were not allowed to alight first…) and we were told that we’ve missed the SYD-SIN plane when boarding for SYD-SIN starts at 0855 hr.
SO, Qantas gave us 2 $20 meal vouchers for our usage while we wait for our flight that departs at 1310 hr (that’s a 4-hour wait!!).
As we walked around to decide where to plonk ourselves while we wait, we heard at least 2 “last call” broadcasts for passengers to the SYD-SIN flight – so why are we wasting time waiting??! (ಠ_ಠ)
For a moment, J did wonder if she should write in and give Qantas a piece of her mind, BUT because we’re happy to be leaving this huge island for the little red dot, her grouchiness should subsided and that thought forgotten! 😛
D’s katsudon (AUD16) and J’s ramen set with gyoza and miso soup (AUD25) which we got using the vouchers – the food SUCKS.
Even the sushi stall at the wifey’s school does better don and ramen than these!
Or put it another way, the wifey cooks better tasting Maggi mee than the ramen – the soup is tasteless, the noodles are stuck together…
If only we knew, we would’ve just spammed that money on Mackers…
Anyway, we didn’t sulk for long because it was soon time to board after the meal.
YAY, good-bye Australia!! 😀
J’s inflight meal:
D’s inflight meal:
J really loves cheese and biscuits:
Some hot chocolate for comfort too:
Our dinner-snack which was… fine:
7ish, 8 hours of flight later, we’re 6 minutes to reaching home!! 🙂
YAYYYY, WE’RE IN SINGAPORE!!! 😀
D’s parents came to pick us up for dinner:
Reasons to love Singapore – it’s cheap to eat out and food generally tastes decent.
After dinner, we headed to J’s place; Tibbit went berserk when he heard J calling out to him from the door. :’)
That’s Tibbit in his play pen which J bought for him to hide in during storms.
Aaaaaah, isn’t he such a charming cutie?? ♥‿♥
J has really missed Tibbit a lot!! 😦
We couldn’t stay for long as we were going to meet some friends for supper, and so had to leave Tibbit again 😦
We met D’s poly mates for supper of prata!! 😀
We didn’t get to take any photos with them cuz they were saying it’s late and they weren’t looking camera-worthy enough 😛
