Chicken-Beef Carbonara Spaghetti

J usually cooks pasta with tomato sauce instead of cream sauce but today, she decided to try cooking with carbonara sauce:

Think it turned out pretty well! 😉

Ingredients:
• 250g chicken breast (sliced or diced according to preference)
• 250g beef (sliced or diced according to preference)
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon chilli sauce
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon thyme leaves
• 1 teaspoon oregano leaves
• 1 teaspoon cornstarch (to tenderise meat)
• 1 tablespoon sliced garlic
• 1 tablespoon sliced onions
• mushrooms (sliced or diced according to preference)

Directions:
1. Marinate sliced chicken breast and beef with olive oil, sweet soy sauce, chilli sauce, honey, ground black pepper, salt, thyme leaves, oregano leaves and cornstarch.

2. Stir-fry sliced garlic and onions with mushrooms:

4. Add carbonara sauce and simmer:

5. Add spaghetti and mix evenly:

6. Tuck in to piping hot chicken-beef carbonara spaghetti!

We really love how cornstarch tenderises the meat. 😉
